Car Air Conditioning Service & Re-Gas in Thirsk – RWS Garage
Booking & Enquiries
When do I need my air con re-gassing?
If your air conditioning stops working or is not as effective as it used to be, more often than not it can be resolved quickly with an air con regas.
What is re-gassing?
Air-con re-gassing is the process of removing the old refrigerant gas from your air conditioning system and replacing it with new refrigerant, so your air con can run cold air again.
It should be the first things to look at if your air con has stopped working or has reduced it working capacity. Otherwise you are looking into more in depth and expensive solution.
This process shouldn’t take any longer than an hour to do, providing a regas is the problem.
How often should I get my air con regassed?
Most manufactures recommend you service your vehicles air-con every two years, or in most people’s cases wait until the air con doesn’t blow cold air.
Bear in mind, a poorly functioning air-con will make it more difficult to de-mist windows in winter, therefore putting the engine under un-necessary work, thus using more fuel and other components in the vehicle.
We offer car air conditioning services for drivers across Thirsk, Sowerby, Carlton Miniott, and surrounding villages.
